So along with this Sangria recipe, we’ve included a few small bites of tapas inspiration (and recipes!) below…

Sangria Recipe:

1 bottle of La Casona Monastrell
6 oz Spanish Brandy
20 oz of fruit punch or fresh fruit juice (grape, berry, orange or lemonade all work well)
1 Orange
1 Lemon
2 Limes
1 Apple
2 pints of berries (strawberries, raspberries or blackberries all work well)

Place diced apple and berries in a bowl and add the Spanish Brandy and allow to rest in the fridge for 4-6 hours, or overnight. When ready to serve, add brandy, apples and berries to a pitcher. Add a generous amount of ice and then pour red wine and fruit juice over top. Add one or two thin slices of each citrus to serving glasses, and then pour Sangria mixture from pitcher. Garnish with a couple of fresh berries or a mint leaf.
