The Globe and Mail Raves about La Casona
Respected columnist, Beppi Crosariol is raving about La Casona Old Vines Monastrell. Here are a few of the highlights.
“A terrific red with earthy, European guts, it tastes like it was handcrafted rather than blended in a factory.”
“One big reason for La Casona’s quality, though, is purely biological, namely vine age. The older the vine, the more concentrated and flavourful the fruit. The vines in this wine range in age from 40 to 60 years, a plant demographic more typical of $50-plus Bordeaux than $9 bargain brands.”

I really think this is a great review. One of the best we’ve ever had!
